For the future of events
We at Lively Entertainment want to play a part in making sure that successful live events can still be organized in a responsible manner in the future. The foundation of our sustainable practices lies in long-term thinking and actual actions for the common good and the environment. Everyone deserves an equal opportunity to be a part of the culture and participate, authentically as themselves, in events such as concerts and other cultural experiences.
Social responsibility
At Lively Entertainment, we want to focus on actual and visible actions that influence people, things and society. The core focus is “from individuals - for individuals - individually”. As a socially responsible employer we invest in the wellbeing of our crew, fair and healthy working conditions, general accessibility and safety. We believe that staff well-being is the key to success and our most important asset, which deserves regular attention.
A responsible employer
The atmosphere at our team is open and straightforward: the crew members are treated as whole individuals and all matters can be discussed without unnecessary bureaucracy. You will always have a possibility to contact your manager during, before or after the gig as they are always accessible to our crew. Everyone is treated with respect. Trust and transparency are important to us in all our operations – they are reflected on both our internal processes as well as customer relations.
Fair working conditions
The majority of the Lively crew are freelancers often working outside their home city. This means that the work includes plenty of travel and overnight stays. With the extensive amount of travel, the means must meet the requirements, which for us translates to proper transportation and accommodation for our crew. We actively work with providers of accommodation. When you work at Lively, the travel, accommodation and meals for the duration of your gigs are provided.
Active planning of working hours as well as following the terms of suitable work hours are an important part of upkeeping our fair conditions. We take care of the length of your working days and resourcing working teams. Agreed working shifts will be communicated through the employer and working hours are actively monitored.
Quality equipment is necessary for satisfying work. All personal protective equipment that Lively provides its crew are good quality equipment made for professional usage.
Lively also organizes employee wellbeing activities for its employees every year.
Training
All Lively employees are given appropriate orientation training before starting their work, and we hold internal trainings in addition. Our trainings focus on improving our operations. Crew members working in leading roles will be trained in occupational safety, first-aid fire extinguishing and first aid.
Currently we do not offer trainings for customers but this is something that we are gonna focus on developing. We are looking for others such as education providers who are interested in developing trainings for the event industry.
Safe working community
At first and foremost Lively is a safe working community, focusing on safety, actively monitoring it and openly communicating. Safe working practices are front and center in our orientation trainings before starting work, and we take safety into account in all our operations. All safety related incidents, accidents and close calls are reported to the management and debriefed together within the community.
During work assignments it's always required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment and the crew will carry an adequate first aid kit. The employees in charge will make sure that the equipment used is safe and that safety is taken into account in all tasks.
Zero tolerance for bullying, harassment and discrimination
At Lively Entertainment we don’t tolerate bullying, harassment or discrimination. All cases are addressed promptly and issues are openly discussed. The topic is highlighted during the recruitment process as well as in trainings. Zero tolerance means not accepting or tolerating bullying, inappropriate behaviour, harassment or discrimination in any shape or form.
Zero tolerance policy at a workplace:
Safer space
At Lively Entertainment and on all our gigs we as a community stand by our safer space principles. We require implementing the principles in action from both our crew and our customers such as event organizers.
Our objective is ensuring that everyone at work assignments, such as stages and events in general, has a safe work environment and gets to be themselves regardless of their gender, age, ethnicity or national origin, nationality, language, religion or beliefs, opinions, disabilities, health, sexual orientation or any other personal characteristics.
Lively Entertainment has zero tolerance for sexual harassment, emotional and physical violence, misogyny, abuse, homophobia and transphobia, ableism, racism and as any other behavior that undermines human dignity and harms others in all circumstances.

Environmental responsibility
At Lively Entertainment, we have our own environmental program which is being developed and monitored together with The Finnish Association for Nature Conservation, and we also use the "EcoCompass" environmental management system (based on international ISO 14001 standard). Our environmental program aims to recognize the concrete ways in which we affect the environment and mitigate negative impacts using the practical means available to us.
Our environmental program emphasizes co-operation on the customer level and extending our impact onwards to reach other operators such as event organizers. In addition to targeting emission reductions ourselves, we aim to influence others as well.
Lively Entertainment has been awarded the EcoCompass environmental certificate in August 2024 and it is currently valid.
Our environmental promise
“For the future of events,
By building our own EcoCompass environmental management system, we are making a lasting commitment to following principles that minimize our environmental impact in everything we do.
In the event services that we offer, we are already acting in environmentally friendly ways. Local services and Finnish products are always our first choice. Operating in Finland, a sparsely populated country with long distances, we rely on public transport a lot for traveling to our gigs. We are a paperless and officeless company. One of our investments is high-quality durable workwear for our crew, meant to be reused and recycled.
We understand our responsibilities and duties as a company, which is why we aim to keep up with the times and stay ahead in progress. When we work with other event service providers and event organizers, we want to inspire them to adopt sustainable practices and develop their own environmentally friendly services.”

- As an officeless company, our operations generate minimal emissions such as those from energy production.
- As a paperless company, we minimize the amount of printing. Accounting, billing, payroll, sales and management are conducted digitally on various web platforms.
- The one lanyard approach: In the events where our crew are provided with badges, we only use our own lanyards.
- In workforce planning, we prioritise local staff members to minimise long travel and the need for accommodation.
- Our company actively monitors traveling and we report to the environmental program. Employer encourages the use of public transport on all work trips. Using one’s own vehicle and carpooling are always separately organized with the employees.
- Besides work travel, we also monitor all purchases, especially focusing on clothing and supplies. We prioritise Finnish products and services. Workwear is reused and recycled.
- Our responsibility practices are actively communicated through our website, social media channels and agreements with partners and customers.
